Ageing is a universal experience, yet it often brings significant social, economic, and health-related challenges. Older women and men frequently face discrimination and exclusion from essential opportunities such as healthcare, education, and economic participation. Unfortunately, many policies and programs fail to account for their specific needs, leaving them marginalized. We are dedicated to advocating for the rights of older people, ensuring they have access to their basic needs, dignity, respect, and the opportunities they deserve. Inclusive development is not just a policy choice; it is a fundamental human right. However, for many communities—especially those living with disabilities, minorities, and other historically marginalized groups—this remains a distant goal. People with disabilities continue to encounter significant barriers in accessing services, employment, and education. Transgender individuals also face widespread challenges related to recognition, protection, and equality, particularly in humanitarian settings. Our organization recognizes the intersectionality of these issues. The challenges of ageing and inclusion are even more pronounced for individuals who belong to multiple vulnerable groups, such as older women with disabilities or minority groups experiencing both ageism and sexism. Humanitarian responses, often focused on immediate relief, must evolve to address the long-term needs of these individuals and ensure their full participation in recovery and development. We are committed to advocating for policies and programs that uphold the rights of all people, regardless of age, gender, or ability. We believe that an inclusive society is one where everyone’s voice is heard and valued, and where solutions are tailored to the diverse needs of its people. Our programs are designed to challenge inequalities, build resilience, and ensure that vulnerable groups—especially older people, people with disabilities, transgender individuals, and minorities—have a meaningful role in shaping their futures. Through collaboration with governments, civil society, and communities, we strive to create an environment where no one is left behind. By fostering inclusive development, we can build a world where ageing is seen as an opportunity for growth and contribution, rather than a burden.
