terrible effects. According to the Global Climate Risk Index, Pakistan is the 8th most vulnerable country to
climate crises despite its very low carbon footprint. The floods of 2010 witnessed a huge loss taking away
more than 1700 lives and after a decade, Pakistan faced a horrendous environmental catastrophe in 2022.
